God poured out His blessing as Operations 29:11 and World Emergency Relief partnered with Wings of Faith for a large scale distribution of goods in October that helped over 30 missions in Eastern Arizona.
The Wings of Faith hangar in Holbrook served as the meeting point for dozens of missionaries who drove for hours to pick up supplies for their local outreaches.
A 53-foot semi truck was filled with 50 pallets of supplies from our warehouse and hangar in Corona including Bibles, Bible story books, food, clothing, solar lights, socks, hygiene items, blankets, sleeping bags, and more. Another trailer followed loaded with water barrels, which are important to help those with water problems collect rainwater in winter to use for irrigating their vegetable gardens in spring and summer.
Our small team of volunteers worked in the rain with thunder and lightning overhead as they unloaded the trailers and organized everything for pickup.
“It is mind boggling how God worked this out with all volunteers and very small budgets,” said Jim Yost, Wings of Faith board member and lead coordinator. “Best news of all, to me, is that the Bible and student Bible materials were in very high demand and the first items to go.”
