During these tough economic times, American Indian families across the country are having trouble saving extra money for school supplies for their children.

Wings of Faith Ministries knows that new school supplies are necessary for kids to succeed and help little ones get excited for the school year.

This year Wings of Faith Ministries’ goal is to distribute over 2,000 new backpacks filled with school supplies for children of all ages on over 24 reservations throughout the Southwest including:

• Navajo Indian Reservation in Arizona
• Apache Indian Reservation in Arizona
• Hopi Indian Reservation in Arizona
• Paiute Indian Reservation in Nevada

Without basic supplies children cannot start the school year off right, but for many families priorities like food need to come first.
