Dear Friends and Family

Dear Friends and Family

Thank you for your prayers, support, concern, and love you have shown us during this year. The year has been a blessing and a struggle.  God has blessed us over and over in so many situations. This makes life meaningful and fulfilling.
We are moving forward presenting the message of Christ's love and hope.  Last year was a year of cold weather, muddy roads and renewed hope.  The winter was one of the most difficult in all the years I have been here.  From January through March, we had snow, rain and a continuous muddy road. I wondered how we would rebuild our congregation.  God is opening doors and opportunities.
I look forward to working with the students in Ganado schools encouraging them to make 2025 a great year and to do their best. I feel we have great teachers with a desire to see their students achieve and enjoy the learning activities.  The opportunity to substitute gives me a chance to reach different students throughout the year making my days fulfilling. I do hope that we can again have programs to minister to children of all ages to reach them for Christ. I need others who have this burden to get involved. This has been my long and urgent prayer.
We are getting people at church involved in trusting the Lord with greater faith.  Several have lost loved ones during this year.  I pray that through the outreach of understanding and love we can grow stronger. I am encouraging the people to use oneyearbibleonline.com for a daily Bible study.  I have a few ladies who I call and play the daily study for them each evening.  It is a good Bible study along with reading the Bible through in a year. This and our emphasis on the Sunday school lessons is deepening the adults' understanding of the history, meaning and the purpose of the Bible as our Daily Guidebook.
One of the greatest blessings has been to see people come to the Lord and get involved with church.  I recently prayed with a young lady who was going through a traumatic situation in her life, we prayed about the situation, and I led her to accept Christ.  Her boyfriend also accepted Christ.  This young lady comes from a family who I have been mentoring for several years.  Her mother accepted Christ several years ago but has had a hard time leaving traditional ways. Her father was a medicine man.  It has taken patience to see her work out what she needs to let go of from the past and go forward to see God work in her life and family.  Her daughter accepting Christ has made making changes more urgent and understandable. Please pray for this family that her husband, sons, and relatives will see the change and come to Christ.
Part of our ministry is to pass out food and household supplies, donated by Wings of Faith ministry from California to our congregation and to elderly and others in the community, this happens about every two months.  The Wings of Faith ministry has been a tremendous blessing.  They recently gave us a new PA system, to replace our old system that was stollen when someone broke into the church. Fortunately, this was the main item taken of value. Most items taken were food items in our church pantry.  I was thankful the damage was minor, and our people helped me get things back in order.
In July 2024, we had our yearly VBS week. It was great to have a great group of Korean young people came from Dallas Texas to help do the week. They picked up children and youth from several areas around Ganado and Cornfields.  The high attendance was around 65. We gave the children and youth backpacks with school supplies and a gift.  Our VBS was a great success.  It was wonderful to see the excitement each day as the children arrived.  There were several who accepted Christ as their Savior.
Thank you again for all your prayers, support, and love throughout the years. God bless you in all you do for Him. The road is not easy, but the rewards are worth all the effort. Onward for the Lord.  Have a wonderful Christmas and a blessed and special New Year!!!!

  In Christ's love and service,
           Rev. Joyce Muench
            Pastor
