The Christmas Airlift 2013 is being helped along in a big way by Walgreen’s Pharmacies in Orange County, CA. The area manager has opened four stores to us for the next three weekends to set up an information booth and a collection box for toys for needy children on the Reservations and in Mexico. This has all ready been a huge help, only in the 3rd day of operation. If you would like to support WOF in this process, you can sign up to staff a booth on the contact page, and choose the “donate goods” option. The stores involved are in Orange, Tustin and Santa Ana, CA. A letter to Walgreens supporting such activities might be nice too! This is a huge opportunity for WOF and the people we serve to get the Word out and gain some local support.
