But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed. 2 Peter 3:8-10 ESV

Partners of AICM,

2 Peter chapter 3 reminds us that the Lord is coming again and there will be judgement and destruction of the ungodly. This world is still filled with people who are asking the question, "If the Lord is coming, where is He?" Peter’s answer stands as a reminder that it is for their sake the God is being patient with them. At AICM we are taking advantage of God’s patience and using our time and resources to reach the Native American communities He has called us to reach. We are proclaiming the lifesaving truth of hope in Christ alone to all who will listen. Everything we do is for this end. Yes, we help with food, clothing, housing, training and education but these are simply tools for the purpose of carrying out Jesus’s Great Commission. Our purpose is proclaiming the truth in hope that the Native American people will surrender to Christ and that they will be transformed by the work of the Holy Spirit in their lives. Thank you for partnering with us, we are all in this together.

School is off to a great start. We have three dorms open and have some day-students as well. There is room for a few more students in the dorms and we are working on enrollment. We have a great team of mission-minded workers dedicated and ready to pour into our students. There are also more resources available to us to help students that are struggling in different areas of education. Getting to know our new students and reuniting with our returning students has been a blessing for all of us. Keep us all in prayer and thanks again for your dedication to helping our Native American students.
