Partners of AICM,
An Elder Navajo believer named Willie John stopped by my office the other day. He was part of the AICM staff, and his children attended AICM in the early 90’s. I listened to him as he talked about his time here and I asked questions that might help me understand how to be a better minister to their community. Willie began to tell me his story about his struggles and his defining moment of total surrender to Christ. What surprised me was that his experience of the love and grace of God in that moment was not much different than mine or others I know. He told me how at the moment of complete surrender to Christ, his eyes were opened, and God began to transform him from the inside out. As I think about the conversation we had, there were two things that stuck out to me. First was his story of his struggles, the Christians that were placed in his life, and how he wrestled with God for 16 years before he finally surrendered to Christ. The second was when he told me that if you want to reach us you need to build long-term relationships with us and never give up on us. I really enjoyed my visit with Willie, and I assured him that AICM will continue to fulfill Jesus’s great commission and not give up. This is why we tell the many ministry teams and individuals that have visited AICM, “When you meet the children and their families on the Reservations, write down their names and pray for them forever”. We are truly grateful for all your prayers and support for the Native American communities God has called AICM to reach. -Jeff Cline
Thank you for sending the money needed to replace our water storage tank and other system upgrades. In a little over two months, you generously donated $114,078 toward this project. With the Interstate Battery LLC matching $50,000 and some funds we had previously raised we have a total of $209,078. We have already started the engineering process and hope to have this project completed soon.
We have been very busy getting ready for the 2024-2025 school year. With all the new staff in our dorms and in the school getting settled in, all the training, and getting students enrolled, there is excitement in the air. We have enrolled many new students and have enjoyed getting to know the families. Please pray for a good school year and that their heart will be good soil as we give them a quality education and plant the seeds of hope only found through Jesus Christ.
