I hope all is well with all of you. I would like to start off by saying thank you all so much for your prayers, support, giving a helping hand and the financial support you have provided to this ministry now and in the past. You are the backbone of this ministry and without you, this ministry could not and would not exist. All ministries need the backing of fellow believers to keep them going. We thank you for that support.
Wings of Faith just completed our latest distribution in Holbrook, Arizona, about ten days ago. This was one of our largest distributions to date. A lot of moving parts went in to making this happen, but we somehow pulled it off only with God's help. We served over 30 missions representing over 6,000 persons with many copies of the scripture, food, clothing, water and many other items. We were so excited to distribute a copy of the Gospel of John in Navajo as well as a recently obtained New Testament in Hopi.
Now we are prepping for our next distribution for the middle of July. This distribution is our annual “Back To School” drive. We have done this distribution for many years assisting the youth on the reservations with backpacks, notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers and all the needed supplies to get through a school year. These items are always highly sought after by our missionaries and pastors on the reservations, because they personally know the need is great in their specific area of service.
Wings of Faith relies on God each and every year to provide these items during this 'Back To School' drive. We never know how it is going to happen, but God works it out. Last year we purchased backpacks pre-filled with supplies for most of our missions in Eastern Arizona and New Mexico.
We would like to ask you guys for your assistance in making this a reality for those that truly need it. I know back in my youth I took my school supplies for granted when my parents bought me my school gear each and every year. But in a lot of the reservation circumstances, the parents don't have the financial ability to purchase these items for their kids. Wings of Faith wants to help fill that gap with your assistance. We ask that you help join us in making this a reality for those children.
We need $20,000 to make these distributions happen, and we're just getting started to meet that goal! Will you please help with a donation of any amount? Every $7 provides school essentials for one child, including delivery and a backpack. We are very good shoppers!
