We are nearing the completion of the backpack and school supply project for this year! God was very gracious to us and supplied funds to purchase and receive over 1,000 school bags and backpacks for the children on the reservations in Arizona, California, Nevada and New Mexico. Feed the Children and some local churches, groups and individuals topped us off with some school supplies amounting to thousands of pounds! With the assistance of Serve-One and seven of our faithful pilots/volunteers/drivers, we were able to move it all out to the end users by Wednesday of last week. Attached you can view some photos of the operation and some thankful smiling faces. Also, some thank you letters have been posted and are representative of the progress of this project. For those of you who have assisted in this project, you can feel satisfaction in encouraging lots of children in their education and promoting their learning. By the way, our faithful warehouse staff stuffed each and every bag and pack with a copy of the Gospel of John!
