May Distribution at Holbrook Hangar

May Distribution at Holbrook Hangar

The last few months we have been preparing for our bi-annual multi-ministry distribution at the Wings of Faith Hangar in Holbrook. From May 8-10, we will open the hangar doors for our missionary partners to pick up some incredible donations that they will take back to their home bases on Indian Reservations in Arizona and New Mexico.

Hangar

Just some of the products we’ve received so far include 2,500 disaster blankets from World Emergency Relief; 22,000 pounds of pinto beans from Orphan Grain Train; nine pallets of bleach in 5-gallon pails; and 4,000 toothbrushes from Global Grins, to which a volunteer and donor has matched with 4,000 tubes of toothpaste.

Buckets

Some of the other organizations that are part of this distribution include Midwest Foodbank, Soles4Souls, Stussy, Obey and many others. So, you may be wondering how you can help. Our number one need is prayer! Remember us in your prayers for travelling mercies for the missionaries and volunteers who organize this event. Pray for the souls of hurting people who all this work is done for. Pray for the Lord’s wisdom and direction and His mighty hand over this entire event.

We also need funds for fuel and operating costs. Wings of Faith is run by an all-volunteer board of directors. Every penny is spent on the ministry. Two hangars and airplanes, fuel, maintenance and so forth. We steward the resources the Lord has provided and we trust Him to supply our every need. Thank you for your partnership with us as we seek to serve “America’s forgotten people.”
