God is at Work!
The insulation project at our Holbrook Hangar & Warehouse is now complete. And what perfect timing. Two ministries that we collaborate with, Operations 29:11 and Giving Children Hope, are joining forces with us for a special collaborative distribution in Arizona on May 9 beginning at 11:30 a.m. with a semi-trailer full of food and supplies! Plus, the Midwest Food Bank in Gilbert, Ariz., is also contributing a trailer load of food!
We have invited missionaries in the Holbrook region to come to our hangar and fill their trucks with these blessings to take back to their Reservations. On the same day, we will host a dedication ceremony for our Holbrook Hangar, with prayers to God from some of the Native Americans in Navajo and Apache languages.
You are welcome to join us at this special event, which will include lunch. We are very excited for everyone to meet each other, as well as the First Southern Baptist church in Holbrook that has been a good friend to this ministry.
At this point we would like to send a very big shout out of thanks to Eric Luhmann, who lives in Holbrook and serves Wings of Faith by being our “wingman” for the hangar. He has helped with everything on site from day one to now, and he continues to be a wonderful blessing in many ways.
We ask for your prayers for all phases of this incredible project. There are many details and logistics to work out, but we know that with God, nothing is impossible. “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19.
Monthly Fellowship
Our monthly Prayer Breakfast meetings are held the 3rd Saturday of the month beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the private room at Marie Callender’s at 160 E. Rincon St., Corona, Calif., 92879. Due to the Easter holiday, we will meet on April 22nd instead. It’s a casual place to meet our volunteers and learn more about the work the Lord is doing through this ministry. Bring a friend!
Sneak Preview
We received a wonderful blessing to help us kick off our annual School Supply Project. The school year begins in August so we start early to provide a new back pack filled with school supplies for the kids. Stay tuned for more details.
