Thankful Hearts in Indian Country

Thankful Hearts in Indian Country

It’s always exciting to hear from people on the Reservations who have been blessed by the gifts they receive via Wings of Faith and our supporters. With Christmas Airlift right behind us, we know that God’s mighty hand is at work. We praise Him for the protection of our pilots and drivers who traversed hundreds of miles over remote areas, sometimes in temperatures below zero! We pray for a harvest among the children and families who received gifts and the Gospel message. The Lord has promised that His Word will not return to Him empty, but will accomplish His purposes, so we continue to pray and trust Him.

We thought you’d be encouraged to see some photos and read a letter to Stussy, one of our major supporters, from Susan Curo of Tribes 4 Christ:

Dear Stussy,

Thank you so much for all of the clothing donations we received on our Reservation through Wings of Faith. Many families were blessed and many needs were care for because of your generosity to our tribal families. Your coats and pants couldn’t have come at a better time. We have been getting snow up on our mountain and it has been very cold. There is nothing like a new coat! God bless you and thank you for all you do in reaching out to many who are struggling in Indian country. Merry Christmas and have a very happy New Year!

Thank you to everyone who supports Wings of Faith in one way or another. Your efforts for the kingdom of God will be rewarded according to His great mercy.

Some of the many ways to help include:

Pray for Wings of Faith Ministries and the people we serve
Give a few hours of your time at our warehouse in Corona, Calif.
Give a one-time or a recurring financial gift
Become a Wings of Faith Advocate
If you’re a pilot, fly with us!

Come visit us at one of our Breakfast Fellowships, the third Saturday of every month starting at 9 a.m. at Marie Callender’s, 160 E. Rincon Ave., Corona, Calif., 92879.

May the Lord bless you and your family in the New Year!

As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. -- Isaiah 55:10-11 (NIV)
