Dear Wings of Faith Ministries,
Several months ago I read an article in a local newspaper about your ministry. I was excited to read about your work on the reservations. Ever since I was a young girl, I have had a heart for the Native Americans. I agree with you that they are a forgotten people and have been mistreated in so many ways throughout the history of our nation. I am a teacher, and when I was young, I considered teaching on an Indian reservation. That did not occur, but my interest in Native Americans has always been there. I am nearing 60, and my husband and I find ourselves at a point in our lives where we have a little more ability to give financially. I have been praying to God for direction as to where we should give from out of the blessings God has given to us. As I read the article, I wondered if perhaps this was God's answer to me. I have been on your web site and read your statement of faith. I agree with how you are showing the love of Jesus in tangible ways by meeting the needs of the people. Through prayer and after visiting with someone from your organization on the phone and learning more about you, I feel that we are to give to Wings of Faith. I would like to send in a monthly donation of $100.00. I would like to designate this to go to the NAOMI project each month. I know this is not a huge amount, but trust that God can take whatever we give and do large things with it. I am excited for our money to be used to help bring the love of Jesus to the children living at the NAOMI House.
Thank you for what you are doing for the Native American people and may God continue to bless your ministry.
Sandra
