Last month I traveled to London, England for two weeks and visited John Wesley’s Chapel I stood beneath his enormous statue that was engraved with the words, "The World is My Parish". That was an inspirational moment on my first mission trip to England! HMM, a biblical drama team, invited me to join them as they toured England and performed their original plays. We went to Lincoln, Birmingham, Tattershall, Sleaford, Grantham, London, Cambridge, and other towns. This was a wonderful opportunity to share the Gospel in the UK and meet people from diverse cultures. Steve, Charlotte, Steve, and Linda of HMM have traveled the U.S. and other countries performing their plays and telling people about God's love and grace. Thank you to our host families in England, HMM, and WFR's partners for making this amazing trip possible.
One of the highlights of our trip was the performances at a high-security prison in Lincoln, England. God miraculously opened the door for us to be allowed inside this prison. We ministered to the prisoners after the play and prayed with them, and I gave them Bible materials that I brought with me. There were a few men who accepted the Lord that day! Others had questions about the Bible and their faith. Everywhere we went, people were encouraged and wanted the HMM team to come back again. We are praying along with the Christians in the UK for God to bring a revival there. Only four percent of the people in Lincoln, England attend any kind of church. I am so thankful that God opened the door for us to minister to these precious people. There is a field ripe for harvest and God is sending the laborers to bring the harvest in. I’m deeply grateful for the prayers and support of WFR's Partners that made it possible for me to go on this mission trip. Praise the Lord!
