Dear Wings of Faith Family
October 2015
As you may realize, Christmas will be upon us soon. The chance to share the joy of the birth of our Savior is going to be here before we know it. We hope to share that joy with up to 10,000 children this year across five U.S. States and Mexico. Our best gift, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son…” (John 3:16)
In 2005, ten years ago, we served ten locations/ministries with Christmas Airlift. We have twenty-nine locations in 2015 and are thanking God daily for the opportunity and blessings to serve this many folks. The challenge of greeting each of these children with a message about the Christ child is monumental and can only be accomplished with the help of many hands, including ones like yours.
Please consider helping Wings of Faith this Fall in preparation and delivery of modest toys for literally thousands of children. This assistance can be in many forms; from gathering toys at your local church, speaking to groups that might want to adopt this project, helping in our warehouse, praying for “our” children, to helping to pay delivery costs for our trucks and aircraft to visit these remote locations. Enclosed you will find an envelope which can be returned to our PO Box, and here is our email address should you be able to volunteer even a few toys or few hours to help out.
It was our very distinct privilege to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of our ministry on Saturday, Sept 19th, at our operations hangars at Corona Airport. When we first began Christmas Airlift forty years ago, we delivered 20 toys to 20 children. Remarkable growth and God’s favor has enhanced our reach and message of His Hope across many miles and many faces. It’s impossible to speak about the morning without mentioning Carla Kinney from San Carlos Apache Tribe and her family, such a wonderful blessing to the event. Her talk was filled with such love and compassion for the Lord and her people. Helping her people at every turn and never wavering in the face of so many challenges. This is why we are so blessed to be a part of Gods Ministry and be given the opportunity to help all the “Carlas” on the reservations we serve. Dale was obviously moved by the recognition and plaque for his 40 years of dedicated service to Wings of Faith. His vision and tenacity proved to start a movement of love. It was the perfect venue for this presentation. What a blessed day! Many thanks to Sprout’s Market, The Lost Bean, and Serve-One for the awesome food!
The School Supply Project 2015 was a huge success! Over 3,200 children were provided with a backpack and goodies to fill them including paper, pencils, pens, erasers, rulers and such. Almost all of it was delivered to them prior to the middle of August in preparation for the new school term. Many children wrote letters and we have lots of photos posted on the website: flywithwings.org

Blessings continue to pour into Wings of Faith, from Stussy, Obey, Rip Curl, Feed the Children, Gleanings for the Hungry, The Happy Factory, Clothing Ministry of Lake Havasu City, AZ, and Family Assistance Ministries of San Clemente, CA. We are struggling to keep up with delivery, sorting, packaging and dealing with a huge bounty. Please consider a donation of your time or treasure to help us move these items to where they are most needed in a timely manner.
As you may be aware, our new hangar/warehouse in Holbrook, AZ, is operational! After years of prayer and consideration, we endeavored to seek God’s face and trust in Him to finish this project. While not completed with insulation or electrical, the building is in operation and already serving a mighty God! Praise Him for his provision, guidance and forethought.
God is at work!
Blessings on you and yours,
