In The Words of Christ

(Jesus) took a little child whom he placed among them. Taking the child in his arms, he said to them, "Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me." Mark 9:36-37

In Service to Christ

This little girl represents our activities in December 2024 around the celebration of the Christ Child, born for our salvation. At one church of about 45 members, they held a community outreach for Christmas with the Nativity Story Booklets, food, clothing and toys from Wings of Faith. Seventeen people prayed to receive Christ as a result of this community outreach in a small town at a small church that is making a difference for the Kingdom! God is faithful to every corner of the earth.

2023 Holbrook Conference

Our primary goal was to equip the saints in order to fulfill Jesus great commission of spreading God’s love and His word worldwide, by delving into the study of preaching God’s word and discipleship.

Mathew 28:19

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Message from the President

To All Our Friends and Supporters,

What a great Spring we have had at Wings of Faith. Please join us in praising our faithful God for His provisions.

We had a incredible distribution at the end of February to most of our locations. Thousands of pounds of physical need supplies were provided and thousands of copies of spiritual material. We even distributed some new computers to two churches with the help of Heroes Deserve Help. We provided Easter story workbooks for children, Bibles, New Testaments, Navajo Hymnals, Gospels of John in English, Spanish and Navajo. Thanks to God and Four Square Missions Press, copies of the New Testament in Hopi are on their way. The Lockman Foundation in La Habra, CA, provides most of our Bibles and New Testaments. Praise God, our provider.

We want to thank you all for being faithful supporters of WOF. Your prayers, support, financial donations, and words of encouragement have been felt by all of us as we embark on the tasks that come before us. We can’t do this without you and your prayer filled support! We ask that you will continue to hold us up in prayer this new year as we move forward.

Bible teaching conferences(how to teach the scriptures) are in the planning stages for the rest of 2024 across the Reservations. These are free to the participants and we focus on pastors and elders of small churches. We are co-sponsors of these two day events and many pastors try to attend again after their first time. Pray about this.

As WOF is a resource to assist our pastors and missionaries, you guys are our bastion of strength, support and our prayer warriors. We thank you!

Faithfully Yours,
Jeff Gasteiger (WOF President for 2024)

WHO WE ARE

Wings of Faith Ministries Missionary Aviation Since 1975 and Flying Strong in 2024

The opportunity that birthed Wings of Faith started as a film ministry in the 1970s. Extremely remote areas were scouted by small plane, then navigated with a customized van loaded with a generator, sound equipment, and an 8’ X 10’ screen, showing films to minister to the native population. The two-way screen was mounted on the top of the van enabling the villagers to completely surround it. It was lovingly called “Church in a Box” or “Bread Wagon,” and translated “living bread to dying people.”

THE CRISIS

Approximately there are 326 Indian reservations in the United States.

Indians living on reservations endured severe hardships, primarily including poverty, malnutrition, and abysmally low standards of living. These marginalized communities faced numerous economic hurdles. The lack of access to quality education, healthcare, and employment opportunities perpetuated a cycle of intergenerational poverty that continues to plague many indigenous tribes today. With limited economic resources and inadequate social infrastructure, reservations often lack basic amenities such as clean water, proper sanitation facilities, and reliable electricity. Inadequate nutrition further exacerbated the situation, leading to increased rates of malnutrition and associated health issues among tribal members. Despite efforts to address these challenges, many lasting improvements remain elusive for many Native American communities on the reservations.

STARVING, HOPELESS, NO FUTURE

Why Wings of Faith Aviation Ministry is important for Indigenous Natives Living in the United States.

Wings of Faith Aviation Ministry is a vital resource for Native Americans as it provides essential support through the means of aviation and vehicles to remote communities. Many Native Americans live in isolated areas, making access to medical care, education, and employment opportunities challenging. Wings of Faith Aviation Ministry plays a significant role in bridging this gap by providing necessary everyday supplies to native American reservations located in all corners of the United States. The organization offers specialized air services that ensure timely delivery of needed supplies such as, food or clothing items. Wings of Faith Aviation Ministry uplifts lives because they take on the task of moving needed supplies from point A to point B for natives throughout America. It is a tremendous uplifting program designed explicitly with the needs and concerns for these underserved populations across often-remote rural reservations felt along the marginalized hearts being cared for by real-life heroes every day! Please join us in anyway you can to help these sometimes completely forgotten people living on the reservations.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

At Wings of Faith, it is our sincere desire to place volunteers in a ministry that will employ their gifts and strengths as they grow in Christ, while at the same time advancing the ministry in a significant way for God’s kingdom. In order for Wings of Faith to ensure a win-win match, every ministry volunteer candidate goes through a screening process.
